A few people have asked to see my new hair cut, so...here you go.

We live in a beautiful place!

This weekend, Dave and I went to the mountains for a stroll and a short hike. After, we had a delicious lunch.

(A nice shot of Dave)

(A lady on the trail saw us taking pictures, and she offered to take one of us.)

(Here I am, devouring my sandwich. Nom, nom, nom!)

(Nature, in all its lovely delicateness)

(A nice view of Dave's behind as he makes his way up the hill)

(The trees were starting to change color!)

Questions on my mind

When oh when will the ice cream trucks go back to their garages for the season and stop playing "Turkey in the Straw" over and over and OVER again every evening?

Is it possible to analyze a text too much? I don't think my lit theory teacher thinks so.

How much longer will it stay warm(-ish)? Is it sweater season now, or not? And...how much longer am I allowed to wear flip-flops?

When will I get to go back to Disneyland? I want to live in a childish fantasy and wait in line for magical rides for a week.

Do people still follow that "no white after labor day" rule? And...what does that apply to, exactly? Shoes? All clothes?

Why did Halloween merchandise show up on the seasonal aisle of the grocery store at the beginning of September? I swear it didn't used to be that way...

That does it for now.

What to say?

Here is an update. Dave and I are sick. It's some kind of food poisoning, I assume. We have both been overwhelmed with reading for school, but of course we made plenty of time to play Super Mario Brothers 3 yesterday. It's not like we could really get up and do anything else, since we were all ready to vomit and all (which I did, by the way, later that night, since you want to know). But we totally beat World 6! We are awesome.

It might be nice...

...if I updated at least one time a week.

So...happy Tuesday!

I go to classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so they are my especially busy days. Dave is busy, well, EVERYday. We have been remembering quite quickly how hectic it is to be back in school and working. Wasn't summer so nice? *sigh*

And you know what? Advanced Literary Theory is, in reality, as difficult as the name makes it sound. Just by the way :)
